The name Aisiki means “prosperity” in the Yoruba language. It was inspired by the strength, diligence, and resilience commonly demonstrated by women across the continent from all walks of life as they constantly seek opportunities to uplift, provide for, and build their homes, families, communities, and individual capabilities.

Janice Rudo Sambaza
Managing Partner
Janice is an impact investor, driven by a passion to empower and promote the growth and self-sustenance of businesses in Africa through innovative socio-economic solutions. She has over 24 years of cross-sector experience spanning several countries in Africa and the USA, executing and leading deal advisory mandates, and private equity & venture capital investments. Janice brings deep experience in investment analysis, corporate finance, financial due diligences, valuations, financial modeling, post-deal integration, carve-out reporting, impact investing, fundraising, and portfolio value creation. Janice is also a Director at Ivhu Advisors, a boutique advisory firm focused on public-private partnership infrastructure projects across Africa. Janice also hosts the “Pamuuyu with Janice” podcast. Janice is a Chartered Accountant (Z) (SA) who holds an MBA from GIBS, South Africa. She is the current Women Chartered Accountants Network (Zimbabwe) Chairperson.
Rufaro Maunze-Bhebhe
Managing Partner
Rufaro is a seasoned professional with a strong background in venture building. She brings to the investment community 25 years of leadership and operational experience in various sectors across Africa and Australia. Her expertise includes banking & financial services, socio-economic development, executive search, impact investment, strategy, human capital development, consulting, and advisory. Rufaro is passionate about women’s economic empowerment and catalyzing gender-smart investing in the region. She is also an organization & leadership development consultant and executive coach with Berachah Global, a boutique OD advisory firm that works with clients to build effective ecosystems that enable the people operating within them to thrive. Rufaro holds both a Specialized Masters’ [MSc] in Coaching & Change Leadership from HEC Paris & Oxford SAID Business Schools and a Masters’ in Development Finance from Stellenbosch Business School and is also a qualified Chartered Accountant. She also holds a Certificate in Impact Investing from Oxford SAID Business School.
